Forged holes that stretch and diminish speak about labor and inevitable change. Seams cut apart, filed to a burr and then reassembled with gold or silver solder are left with a raised line that is reminiscent of stitching, a visible mending. These pieces are about being human and fallible, about how effort and care are worthwhile and even essential to preserving and creating connection.
